My work is grounded in both clinical expertise and a refined, individualized approach to care.

Over time, I have developed a practice that integrates acupuncture, sports medicine, and a deep understanding of how the body holds and responds to stress, injury, and change.

Background & Training

I am a licensed acupuncturist with advanced training in Sports Medicine Acupuncture, and have spent over two decades in clinical practice and education.

I have served as faculty at the master’s and doctoral levels, teaching advanced techniques including trigger point therapy and dry needling. This work has shaped not only my technical precision, but also how I think about the body as an interconnected system.

My clinical experience includes working with professional dancers, performers, and touring artists, where the demands on the body require both accuracy and adaptability.

A Refined, Individualized Approach

No two bodies present the same way, even when symptoms appear similar.

Each session is tailored to how your body presents in that moment—drawing from acupuncture, sports medicine principles, and, when appropriate, hands-on bodywork.

My work is informed not only by clinical training, but by a deeply intuitive awareness of the body. This allows me to recognize both physical and energetic patterns that influence how tension is held and how healing unfolds.

This combination supports care that is both precise and responsive—addressing immediate concerns while creating the conditions for longer-term change.

Patients often come to me after trying other approaches that have not fully resolved their symptoms.

They may be navigating:

  • Chronic pain or recurring injury

  • Stress that has become physical

  • Patterns in the body that feel persistent or difficult to shift

My role is to listen carefully—to both what is expressed and what is not—and to identify the underlying patterns contributing to those experiences.

From there, treatment is designed to restore balance, improve function, and support the body’s natural capacity to heal.

Beyond the Clinic

In addition to in-office care, I offer concierge wellness services for clients seeking a more personalized and flexible level of support.

This includes in-home sessions, ongoing care, and travel-based treatment for those who require continuity across demanding schedules, events, or performance environments.

How I Can Help You

Whether you are seeking relief from pain, support through stress, or a more comprehensive approach to your health, my work is designed to meet you where you are—with clarity, precision, and care.

Imagine a farm with a beautiful barn. The wood and steel are strong and stable. The sun is shining on the lush pasture and the animals are happily grazing and drinking from the running brook. The entire ecosystem is thriving because everything has its place and one thing feeds another.

The sheep and cows eat the grass and their manure fertilizes the soil. The chickens break up the manure and disperse it throughout the landscape.

The soil, which is now rich in nutrients, grows healthy plant life. Which then produces healthy food to eat.

You are this analogy. Your muscles and bones are the wood and steel that make up the barn. Your internal environment is the ecosystem. What would happen if the sun refused to shine and the water refused to flow?  What if the cows out numbered the other animals and overran the place? Would the farm look the same?

Think of me as a farmer. The consultation and intake helps me discover clues as to how your farm is functioning on its own. I will give advice on what you can do outside of the treatment space to help yourself. Many times that includes dietary or lifestyle adjustments- posture, stress reduction techniques, increased sleep and getting outside to enjoy the sun.

Needles are used to weed (pluck out those thorns in your muscles), till your soil (remove blockages) and get your water (blood) flowing. Because where there isn’t smooth flow, there is pain. I will also use needles to release endorphins and stimulate your body’s natural healing response. Most of the time, I will incorporate some form of body work and cupping to aide in the restoration process.
